Q: How do I manage my notifications?

I want to update my Notifications preferences. Maybe you're getting too many notifications, maybe you're not getting enough 😳. Either way, we've got your back. Log into the site Head for the My account settings section. > Alerts Tick or Untick the alerts according to your preferences and you're done! If you are using a computer click here. If you are using mobile click here. If you're not getting any emails from us: Check My account settings > My account to make sure we have the right email address. If we do, check your spam folder. If you are using the APP and wish to adjust your notifications style, sound and vibrate settings: Go to the Me section in the app, tap Preferences , then Notifications .

How do I change my personal details?

You can easily change information such as your Username and Location

Go to My account settings by clicking on your profile picture at the top of any Match page.
Click on My account > ✏️ by your first name or City.
Or click here.

Mobile and App:

Click on the Me section > ⚙️. > Under My account.
Or click here.

If you want to change your Age or Date of birth:

➔ Please send a mail to the Customer Care team 💌.
They'll work their 🧙 and have your profile updated in no time.

How can I swap from searching for women to searching for men (or vice versa)?

Maybe you clicked the wrong button, maybe you've just decided to try something new. Whatever the reason you want to change your search gender, we’ll be happy to help! ⚥

You can’t currently change the gender you're looking for in your profile’s settings. Here is what you’ll need to do.

1. Log into your account from a computer.

Access the My Account Settings > Click Suspend your account. Confirm your request > To cancel your account, click here

It will disappear within 24 hours.

2. After that, you can use your original email address to create a new profile.

If you’ve already taken out a subscription on your old account, we'll be happy to transfer any balance to your new one. Once you've created your new profile, contact Customer Care 💌 with the following details:

The email address linked to your old account and the one you're using for your new account (if they are different)
Your new customer number, which you can find in My account settings

As soon as your new profile is up and running, you'll be one step closer to finding someone special!

If you are using the iPhone app, please close your profile by following these instructions:

IOS APP:

Log in to your account using the IOS App
To delete your account: Tap Me > ⚙️ > Tap Delete my account > Follow the instructions
Your profile will disappear within 24 hours

Mobile and APP:

You cannot delete or suspend your profile from our app
Log into your account from a computer
To delete your account: Access My account settings > Suspend my account > To delete your account, click here
It will disappear within 24 hours
