Why has my account been banned?
When your account is banned from Match, you'll receive an email notification. Once banned, you will no longer be able to access or use Match. If you have an active subscription, the automatic renewal will be cancelled.
Accounts are banned when we identify violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Use such as:
1. Age restrictions
Match is only available to people over 18. We close accounts opened by people who are or appear to be under the required age. If necessary, please contact Customer Care ๐ to reopen your profile. You'll need to provide valid proof of age, like your passport or driving license.
2. Your profile has been closed down due to bad behavior
We want Match to be a safe, fun place for everyone, which is why every profile has to comply with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. 3. Your profile has been closed for another reason
Your account also may be closed if you are accessing Match from a restricted location. If you believe your profile was closed in error, please contact Customer Care ๐ for further assistance.
