How can I set which emails and notifications I wish to receive?

You can choose the notifications you wish to receive in the “My account settings” section.

To get there, hover your mouse over your screen name in the top right-hand corner of any page of the website.

Once you’re in “My account settings”, you can tick or untick the notifications you wish to receive on the website and by email. By switching your alerts on, you can instantly be notified when you receive a new message or view, and when a member adds you to their Likes.

Click “Save” to update your notifications.

To boost your chances of meeting someone, make sure you select the following:

  • “Send me matches by email”,
  • “Consider my profile for the member spotlight on match.com and partner sites,
  • “I would like to be invited to match.com events near me”.
